Sms question

Hey guys I am wondering if there is a way to shut off text messages from displaying when the screen is locked? Right now my phone lights up when I receive a message and anybody can read it. Thanks for the help

Go to settings-messages-notifications-show preview,turn this to off.

For some reason I don't have notifications under message settings
