It was inevitable really that the new iOS version of classic Bitmap Brothers game, Speedball 2 Evolution would be a smash hit, and sure as night follows day, it has gone on to top the iPhone and iPad charts around the world, with top 10 positions in all iOS formats across Europe. In order to celebrate, Tower Studios has slashed the game’s price to £0.59/$0.99/€0.79 for a limited time. Not sure quite how limited the time is. They’re actually calling it an “extended Happy Hour Promo”, but don’t panic about that, as the sale is definitely lasting longer than an hour! Here’s a jubilant Jon Hare, CEO of Tower Studios:
