On Monday, Spotify announced its new family plan, for families up to six people, for only $14.99/month. The price matches the current family plan on Apple Music, formerly priced at $30 per month.
“The upgraded Spotify Family Plan offers the same world-class music experience as before, but now provides even more family members with access to over 30 million songs for just one low price payable on a single bill,” said Spotify.
The Swedish company allows each individual family member to have their own account, mean that playlists from other family members won't interfere unless need be. Spotify offers a catalog of over 30 million track without any advertisements or restrictions. Both services offer a discount for students, once again making it a difficult decision.
