Spotlight yields imessage Name but cannot find 4s

I was using my spotlight on the 4s and I came across an imessage logo with an ex girlfriends name on the header and I clicked that through spotlight to no avail.
I cant find anything in the messages with my ex's name. Maybe somewhere on the phone I still have her text messages since her name comes up in spotlight.
Can anyone help? I'd like to reread any messages if they are still there
