Sprint iPhone 4s

Hello, i have an Sprint iPhone 4s on ios 5.1.1 baseband 2.0.12 and i was planning to update to the new ios 6, BUT would it update the baseband? I currently rely on unlock by the ultra gevey sim for h2o wireless.

Updating to iOS WILL update your 4S' baseband. DO NOT update to iOS 6 until it's confirmed that custome IPSW's can be created to preserve the lower basebands.

If I was to update to the new iOS 6 by mistake, and downgrade back down to iOS 5, would it downgrade the basband to 2.02.12?
