9to5 Mac reports today that according to Weibo, the new 256GB iPhone 7 will have virtually the same price as the current top-of-the-range128GB iPhone. The leaked pricing details also refer to a new iPhone 7 Pro version, which is the most expensive of all the models, costing around $150 more than the iPhone 7 Plus.
If the leak is correct, we can expect that Apple will be announcing 32GB, 64GB, and 256GB iPhone 7 models and 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone Pro models.
This is not the first time that we’ve heard rumours of an iPhone 7 Pro model, with a Japanese magazine leaking schematics of what was claimed to be an iPhone 7 Pro model a couple of months back, complete with a dual-camera and Smart Connector.
If this latest rumour is correct, that means that Apple will be launching a total of nine new iPhone models this fall, and that’s without including the various colour options!
