The Washington Post writes about an attempted iPhone robbery that went wrong when the suspect made the mistake of leaving his Samsung Galaxy phone at the scene of the crime! According to the report, the suspect, Travis Montgomery Snyder, aged 25, is alleged to have smashed a case containing iPhones in a wireless store in Springfield, and then made what he thought was a clean getaway, only to be subsequently arrested by Fairfax County police in Remington, Va., when he was found to have left his Samsung Galaxy phone at the crime scene. Snyder was picked up by the police after they traced him via the phones subscription. The police search warrant for the crime revealed that surveillance footage from the DMW Wireless store at 7000 Spring Garden Drive showed someone who matched Snyders description at the crime scene. Police had initially been alerted to the incident, back in February, when the stores alarm was triggered. The suspects Samsung Galaxy phone was found under broken glass inside the store. No word on whether he was seeking an upgrade, says the Washington Post![/FONT]
