Syncing iphone 6s (music)

In iphone summery in itunes I have 'sync on this computer' checked and 'sync only checked songs and videos' checked. In the music tab I have 'sync entire library'. When I Sync my iphone 6s it ignores the 'sync only checked songs'. How can I fix the? I have unchecked many songs but they are still playing on my phone.
