syncing question

I have an iphone 5 and have always had no troublt syncing my contacts from the iphone to my PC.I have just bought a new PC with windows 8 and I can't seem to get my contacts to go into outlook for back up.Anyone else have the same issue?How about a fix?Thanks in advance.

Try downloading the icloud control panel and using that. I don't use outlook so I can't really give you advise past this.

If you set up an iCloud account in your phone's settings and enabled contacts, they should be stored there in iCloud. You can access your iCloud account on your computer.
