9to5 Mac reports that following on from AT&T’s announcement of its newly upgraded mobile plans yesterday, T-Mobile and Sprint have now revealed their new “unlimited” plans.
T-Mobile appears to have had the most radical overhaul of its plans, removing all of them in favour of just one, the aptly named T-Mobile One.
“It’s 100% unlimited and comes with unlimited talk and text and unlimited 4G LTE smartphone data—including unlimited standard definition video—all on America’s fastest 4G LTE network” said T-Mobile of the new plan. “And, it’s available at a great price: just $40 per line for a family of four.”
There are, of course, various exceptions to the plan, including a fee of $25 extra per month if you want to watch HD video rather than standard-definition video.
As far as Sprint’s newly unveiled plan is concerned, it costs $60 per month, and also restricts music and gaming as well as video to “optimized” rates.
All of Sprint’s, AT&T’s, and T-Mobile’s plans have unlimited talk-time and texts.
