AppleInsider reports on some news from T-Mobile that has certainly been a long time coming! Yes, today, T-Mobile finally announced that it has signed a deal with Apple, and will start selling Apple products in the US in 2013. The information was announced by T-Mobile’s parent company, Deutsche Telekom, today. And although no particular Apple products were mentioned, as AppleInsider notes, it is most likely that T-Mobile will be offering the iPhone and the iPad, as these are Apple’s two cellular-capable devices. That is the statement of one happy man, and one happy company! T-Mobile is the fourth-biggest carrier in the US, and one of the last to offer Apple products."Following on from the preceding steps such as the spectrum swap with Verizon, the towers deal with Crown Castle and the transaction with MetroPCS that we have announced, we have now added the final piece to the jigsaw to boost the competitiveness of T-Mobile USA sustainably," said René Obermann, CEO of Deutsche Telekom.
