On Tuesday's earnings call, Sprint seemed to fall short of T-Mobile's 58.9 million subscribers. This means that T-Mobile is now the third largest carrier in the US, with AT&T and Verizon in the lead.
Before John Legere joined T-Mobile in 2012, the carrier had a mere 33 million subscribers, with Sprint at 55 million. With Legere at the head, the company can nearly doubled in size.
