Texting Issue Between iPhone 4 and Galaxy 3

I know Android isn't allowed here but this involves iPhone as well. I switch my AT&T sim between my Galaxy 3 and my iPhone 4. Some of my texts only show up on my iPhone while others only show up on my Galaxy 3, what might cause this?

Because the texts were received on the device the sim was inserted in at the time.

This is completely normal.

What If you text on one and receive it on the other? Will it transfer to the 2nd device?

It'll go to whichever device has the SIM inserted.

Oh one more question on this. How is it i received a text on my Galaxy 3 from overseas? I thought i couldnt receive them?
