I have a 4s (not jb).
Downloaded iOS6 last week.
Now, cannot access my hotmail account :-((
Stuck on 'checking for mail' - permanently.
What should I do plz.

Close mail, then delete it from the multitask bar. This will force it to start from the beginning.


If the problem repeats, delete the account and add it again.

Delete the entire account from your iDevice. Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Etc.... and removed the affected email account. Then reinstall it. Should clear up any issues that your iDevice is having w/ your email server.
