Hi,
after a quick look at jailbreakMe.com, i can not found any realse date for a new hacking version for Iphone 4 IOS4.0.2.
I understand thats they are waiting for 4.1 version and than releasing the new broken solution.
But any one can figure out, how long should it take ?

Is there any Dev team official guy, membred in this forum, one that's know about their progress and estimated times of release ?

are the sources of Dev team project open ?

Are they looking for any dev power ?

are there any other free lonly wolfs out there thats wrote (or at least try to) there own crack ?

is there any developer IPhone forum for all this Q?

I'm really new with all this IPhone toy , so be gentel...

its been covered many many many times that 4.0.2 will not and never be jailbroken, they didnt pay much attention to that firmware because all it did was patch the exploit which jailbreak me 2.0 was using...it should take no longer than 2-3 weeks for the jailbreak to be released

haha im expecting 2-3 weeks so that when it comes out a little sooner ill be suprised, but if i expect it too soon and its not out ill be a little let down lolll

Yep i know that's "4.0.2 will not and never be jailbroken" as you mention, and I know also about this apple patch "exploit which jailbreak me 2.0 was using".

I actually ask about the time of the new version release.

After reading other replies i understood that you guys gonna wait approximately for 3 weeks.
Is there any other solution, except waiting ?
Can i down grade to 4.0.1, is it recommended ?
I need this hack badly, cause I can not use my phone till than, I have no contract with AT&T and i need cydia installation.

If there is already opened thread about this issue, please advise

no you cannot downgrade to 4.0.1

we don't know how long it will be until a jailbreak is released for 4.1

there is no other solution except for you to wait

Correction, you CAN downgrade to 4.0.1 if you saved your shsh blobs. But ONLY if you saved tjem

Doesnt matter. Actually if you saved it via umbrella, it sent your blobs to cydia as well. But if you only did it via cydia youd have to point itunes at sauriks servers

i see i see, man when i used tiny umbrella it changed my proxy settings, i was tearing my hair out trying to figure out what was wrong, it turns out there was an error on my gs.apple.com line i was like wow -__-

Oh yeah. That junk has to be exact. Like one character off and it wont work at all

Thats it! Im going back to 4.0.1. I tried stock 4.1 and it was fun for a little while but it didnt even fix my proximity sensor. I know there is probably going to be a jailbreak soon but imma go back for right now. Supprisingly, i got better battery with certain tweaks while i was jailbroken than i do being stock 4.1.
