My twin brother Don and I were avid record collectors and audiophiles back in the day, we had a serious record collection of 3500+ albums and 500+ CD's and a serious American made high end audio system back then. Our musical taste was pretty broad between rock, jazz, R&B and contemporary music and some rare vintage albums we later sold to a serious collector.
After having been listening to and collecting records since the 1970's, in 2017 we found ourselves not listening to our stereo system much anymore and decided to sell our equipment and record collection. We sold the stereo gear and records and donated our CD collection to the disabled veterans. We retired to Florida in 2020.
My identical twin brother Don passed away suddenly in May 2021 and I live by myself now and really don't have the desire to get into audio anymore, we lived together for 37 years and he was my best friend and we did everything together, I still enjoy going into a local audio shop near me and listening to a great album like Steeley Dan Gaucho, but to go out and invest in another system, I just don't have the desire anymore.unfortunately.
