UK Starbucks App Finally Gets Passbook Compatibility

Starbucks has announced that its UK iOS app has finally been updated so that users will now have the ability to add your Starbucks card to the iOS 6 Passbook app, so that you can then use it to pay for drinks and food, or for anything that is on sale in a UK Starbucks branch, for that matter. The app can also be used to manage your Starbucks card balance, top up your Starbucks card, view transactions, and even see how many stars you’ve got in the My Starbucks Rewards scheme. Other features that you might find useful when you’re on the hunt for a coffee or tea fix are a store locator complete with directions, a food menu with nutritional information, a drinks builder to help you construct your perfect yummy drink, and fascinating facts about Starbucks’ whole bean coffees.
