If it's an AT&T iPhone that's no longer under contract you can contact AT&T to have them unlock it

its on baseband 04.11.08 and i was not sure how to keep the sam ticket? i actvated it through i tunes

Not sure, can I still unlock with SAM method? If not what is the best way for me to unlock I'm on 1.0.13 and 5.1 jailbroken

No. You cannot unlock via the SAM unlock method.

The *only* way to keep your unlock is if *you used the SAM unlock when it did work, then backed up the activation ticket in the Lockdown folder with redsn0w or any other method*.

So unless you backed up the activation ticket after using the SAM unlock..........then no.....you will never be able to use the SAM unlock ever again.
