Been browsing through the iphone forums. There has been a tweet about updating your A5 based devices to 5.0.1 before the signing windows closes which could be very soon. A few of the moderators have already updated there device ipad2,iphone4s. BUT BEWARE IF YOU WANTING AN UNLOCK AS WELL THEN I WOULD THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE UPDATING BECAUSE OF MUSCLENERDS UNLOCK EXPLOIT. As A4 devices have already got an untether on 5.0.1 i would imagine that pod2g untether would support this firmware as well, but this is purely speculation.
Well i leave up to you. I have already taken the plunge and updated.
