Vibrate problem

So my gf got a iPhone and it won't vibrate when she recieves a text but will when she puts it on vibrate And when she plugs it In so will a restore fix this because the phone will vibrate but not with txts.

Don't know if you've tried this.. Settings>Sounds>Vibrate. If you've tried it then I don't think a restore will help.

Yeah but I figured since it still vibrates like ik it's not broken because it vibrates for those other things and she just bought it so.

Is the device jailbreaked? Are you using the inbuild sms application? If yes and your settings look like this screenshot here

then perform a factory reset of the iOS.

No it's not jailbroken and yes the inbuilt SMS system. I will see of that will work.
