Vibrate switch doesn't work

I have a iPhone 6 plus gold jail broken and when I use the vibrate switch on the side it would say silent and vibrate on the screen how can I make it vibrate again please help

I tried that but it doesn't vibrate on silent

Disable it and enable it again, restart your device and reset it (Home and Power button until the Apple logo appears...).

The side switch is technically a Mute switch. There are two settings you also need to address in Settings>Sounds>Ringtone>Vibration. Now make sure you have chosen a vibration type. As you are backing out of Settings, after you leave Ringtone check to make sure Vibrate on Silent is toggled on.

I figured out the problem in notifications on phone the ringer was on silent and not default so when I use the switch it wouldn't do anything but if you put it in dafault it would play the ringtone and with the switch on it would vibrate

I was gonna turn it in and get a new one but now I don't have too

Glad ya got it fixed. This thread will probably come in handy for a lot of people. I've seen this question multiple times.
