Voicemail service was reset by provider

Hello,

My provider reset my voicemail service when I called to make another change. I got a message saying I needed to set up my voicemail again. All of my voicemails have been deleted, and it's as if today is the first day with voicemail. There's nothing under deleted messages. Can I recover these via iTunes or are they gone?

Voicemails shouldn't be cached on your device. When you call VM, you're basically calling your mailbox at your carrier's server where they're stored. Set up the VM again and see if your messages are still there. For Verizon, I didn't lose my VMs when I first transitioned from my old phone to my iPhone
