Jony Ive's influence on iOS 7 brought users a more simple, and flat, version of our favorite operating system. But the question is, how difficult was it to create such a unique design? According to this very interesting video, it's not rocket science.
Apparent Microsoft Word expert Vaclav Krejci, posted a video on YouTube demonstrating a recreating of the iOS 7 Homescreen using only the aforementioned program. Krejci's video is not in real-time and he has sped up the process for recreating a spitting image of iOS 7.
In the nearly 10 minute long video, Krejci shows and commentates on the process of using only tools given to him in Microsoft word to mimic all of the UI images on the iOS 7 Homescreen.
