Still waiting - grey sky though - maybe soon [emoji1696]

There is a section in settings for international weather, where it links to other government weather apps but when I tried to enter Bridgetown, Barbados it gave me Bridgetown in Australia.

But it's nice too for my checks on brother in Hamilton and family elsewhere. Even if not 'the Barbadian Desert!!

I've 'had' Weathermate for years but it's only recently started actually using PWS's as part of its matrix. It used to very heavily ( as do many apps) weight 'airport' location- and many airports are far from representative of area weather. Now it also updates whenever opened and and 10 min intervals. It can show some very 'off track' places too such as small villages in Guyana, where my wife's family live. So it's my go-to and I was re- acquainted with in on this forum. It's proven by far the most accurate forecast wise here. Openweather is also good.

Those who celebrate hot dry weather here are mostly tourists [emoji41], but since we now have hardly any tourists it's time to consider our farmers and residents for whom dry taps is a scary spectre. It's happened before and can again. The lack of tourism last drought ( this time last year) was all which saved our reservoirs. [emoji849]

I guess I can quote the Farmer's Lament - "Rain only comes in Two Amounts - Two Little, or Two Much. Last year we slid from drought into potential hurricane season which fortunately in this area was benign. We can thank the Sahara Desert dust which crosses from Africa but stifles hurricane development a lot ( between Cabo Verde & The Eastern Caribbean)
