The 'ashen trees' look familiar and St Vincent is home to many coconut and banana plantations They have it so much worse - making us 'spectators' by comparison. And I'm certain thay have the same 'Aging population' factor that we do, if not moreso. [emoji3064]

Our neighbours on St Vincent would certainly agree. And Hawaiians don't quite approach theirs simply as 'tourist attractions' either. Thanks for the thought jasassy

The volcano enclosure is large. The risks are minimal for the population. No death to date now ! Effusive volcano and not explosive [emoji3455] !
