It’s a little colder today. By 8:00 AM it’s supposed to drop to -21°C.

I don't live anywhere near the mountains but the prairies can have some really cold winters. We can easily have the daytime high remain at or below -30ºC for a month or more.
BTW, if you want to stop missing those brutal mountain winters you could always move to the Colorado Rockies where they can get 50' or more of snow every winter.

That's where I miss them from. Lived up in the Rockies for a few years, miss all seasons (winter, mud, summer and fall) and all the outdoor activities.
