I spent most of the last week in the Arctic. The weather up there is crazy. Well above freezing for days on end. It's making driving dangerous:

Temps of -25 to -40 are more normal.

In my immediate area it hasn't been too bad but some parts of the uk have been badly hit ...
Today it's still a bit windy and very cold but not too bad, we didn't suffer a power cut like some in this county have.
