Trying to relax now, Had one of those days when nothing goes right, Culminated in my Macbook Pro giving me a fright, I lifted the lid to find a black screen, Connected it to the power outlet.....Nothing.
Waited 20 minutes still nothing, 30 minutes, After several long presses on the power button it rebooted, No idea what it was though......Phew!!!

Is your AppleCare+ still in effect? If so try calling to see if they have any ideas.

Yes I did, They said it sometimes happens but nothing to worry about, I've had two Macbook Pro over a five year period but haven't seen that before.

Right now I'm just starting to stop shaking, There was a massive bang a few minutes ago, I've never heard anything so loud, Alarms going off everywhere and people out in the street, Someone thinks it was a Sonic Boom, I thought the windows were going to shatter.

We have had one here before, It woke up the whole area one night.
If was a deafening boom though that shook the whole house and its been heard everywhere.
