My old iPhone 5S wouldnt turn on and displayed the connect to iTunes screen. I connected it to iTunes on my MacBook Pro and placed it in recovery mode. It's currently being restored and will be set up from my latest backup.

Agreed. Mine is better now, finally, but it's not completely gone yet.

I once had a bad cough that took almost a month to go away. I certainly hope yours is better in much less time.

That's good, Mine started at the beginning of this week so I have a while to go yet, I know from experience there isn't much you can do but ride it out.
