That I won't know until my Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter arrives. To sync it with my MacBook I plug a Thunderbolt to FireWire adaptor into my MacBook, a FireWire 800 to 400 adaptor into the first adaptor, a FireWire 400 cable into the second adaptor, and finally, the iPod into the FireWire 400 cable.

There's no other way, now that Apple doesn't put FireWire ports on their computers. When the last adaptor arrives I'll let you guys know how it works..
