That was really fast. Just one day after making the new software available to the public.

It certainly was.
My iPhone was on the public release version of iOS 10.3 for about 6 hours.

Syncing with iTunes on your computer and electing to transfer purchases will ensure you will save things like books and PDFs. Make sure all your photos are saved elsewhere so you don't lose any of those excellent photos you take.

For me, syncing on my computer gets rid of almost (if not) all of the other. Make sure you clear out the deleted stuff in the photo app before syncing too.
