What are you doing right NOW??? ;)

What are you doing right NOW??? ;)

Neither did we when I was a student. That started four years ago in my state. This year, we also get ID cards for teachers.

I work in a school too (IT Support), and we don’t just have ID cards, the staff have electronic swipe cards for controlled access to certain parts of the building, and retrieving print jobs from our multifunction printer devices, and recording your arrival and departure times from work! [emoji15]

Returning from a night walk in the rain.

One of life’s innocent cost free pleasures a great many people in our bustling rat-race of a world literally take for granted.

Nothing beats the feeling of raindrops falling from the sky, and drumming on your skin; the smell of freshly scrubbed air, as the rain falls, washing pollution and dust from the skies.

The sound the rain makes as it falls gently on all the vegetation around you. A true blessing from the sky. Those cold stinging drops that catch you in the face, and make you feel more alive than ever before.

And when you finally get home......the rivulets of rain trickling down your windows - there’s something incredibly magical about that scene.

In a school with just 53 students and 8 teachers that’s not necessary, thankfully.

That’s a very picturesque description. :)

Sounds like paradise! Imagine 865 students and about 50 - 60 teachers / teaching assistants / SEN specialists / 400+ computer devices and 2 x ICT Tech Support staff to serve them all....[emoji851]
With the right people, it IS paradise. We do have a mostly relaxed atmosphere. Teachers who’ve been working here, told us repeatedly they’ve neer been at a school as friendly as ours. Two years ago, a young colleague spent her first day with us, and after teaching for just two hours, she already liked working here, and didn’t want to leave.

I can’t imagine working at a place where I don’t know most of the people.

Headed home for the day!
