Deleting the 11.0.3 update that downloaded just now while not plugged in and while the phone is in use. Apple has crossed a line with this, now they are affecting real time usability and burning real time data, it's not just at night if wifi left on (which I no longer leave on at night) and charging anymore.

I haven't yet had that happen to any of my own devices. I thought that any download over 100mb had to be done over WiFi as any time I tried to download anything larger over that while on cellular it wouldn't work.

It used wifi, but affected my network performance, I was watching Stranger Things and updating 2 computers and a laptop (Sunday chore before bed) when it downloaded.
