I’ve added a 4TB hard drive to my Mac Pro and am now transferring my iTunes library to the new hard drive. When finished, the drive will hold a complete backup of my entire iTunes library. The current size is about 2.5TB.
iTunes HD is the new hard drive where the iTunes library will reside. After I’ve determined that the iTunes library is working in the new location I’ll delete the original files.
