The total flying time is about 5 hours, spread out over three separate flights over a 10 hour time period. I'll be spending a lot of time waiting for connecting flights.

5 hours is nothing. When I came back from Glasgow in 2005, I had to wait 7 1/2 hours in Toronto for my flight to Regina.
