This is funny reading responses....I have a white one and my husband got a black one. It's interesting reading everyone give a color preference based on male or female but I guess it's true!

I had a white one forever than when we were getting the next iPhone my daughter wanted white but they were out sooo we for black.
I winded up switching that one for the 4S and it's black..
I prefer the white one.... But don't matter that much

Saying the white is for girls and the black is more manly is just silly. Get what is visually appealing to you, not what you think other people will say.

Plus would tend to show scuff marks nd other markings as opposed to the more elegant looking black iPhone. When I had my iPod Touch after putting on a black protector on it that mare the iPod look much more high end looking.
