Hi to all hackers out there.
I recently acquired a Locked At&T iphone 4 with version 4.2.1 and baseband 03.10.01. What should I do in order to Unlock SIM and get Internet tethering on Wifi and USB cable (without paying, of course)?

I am kinda missed out of the last 6 month development in iOS hacking. I know latest offical version is 4.3.3. What is the latest unlockable baseband?

Please suggest what version should I upgrade to 4.3.2 or 4.3.1 or 4.3 and how to change to a unlockable baseband?

Thank you for all of you.

the software unlock for the iphone 4 can only unlock baseband 01.59, you cant downgrade baseband

Thanks for the reply.
Did anyone try this hardware SIM hack by applenberry website? how reliable is it?

well the first one worked so if your desperate enough i would probably give it a go..

what network is it locked to? and is there no way you can use that carrier or contact them to unlock it? some carriers will unlock phones

yes well I just tried using one and it definitely did not work. I work at a cell phone store where we buy used phones and sell them and repair/jailbreak/unlock etc. and the Gevey Ultra did not work for me. I could really use some help here if anyone has the time.

i see.. well ATT unlock the iphones now, so if your in the states you could pay to unlock it or i dont know if they do it free or charge but they do unlocks now

its ok. I figured out what the problem was. I wasn't using T-Mobile's newest sim-card and apparently that disagreed with the untethered sub-strait
the Geyvey Ultra DID end up working for me. it is an effective untethered solution. I also have found a way to unlock the sim without geyvey. its a hack. I'm still working on getting a mac so I can do it though

I just found out AT&T would unlock phone for a price. But for a $35 Gevey hack, I 'll give it a shot first.
Thanks everyone for your great inputs.
