Electric Avenue everyone knows this song, when l was kid l lived in Brixton about 500 yards from it. It was a market nothing more. No riots just people buying food from stalls. Record shops, toy shops just like l have seen on American TV.

That's a photo of a pub l would sit on the step outside waiting for my mum to bring me coke and crisps. It leads to Electric Avenue. That photo was taken 2 years ago. The shop next door was the local sweet shop. The only fights we had was about who was first in queue. The lady always knew. No knives nothing. I know it's off topic but it's something to think about. At Christmas Time.
