Why does App Store not rotate on iPhone.

Hi
Coming over from android is the best thing I have done.but have one little gripe with iOS.on android play stores would rotate to landscape but on iOS it does not.this I don't like and now with ios6 it's more cluttered.

It's just the way it is. Btw, on previous iOS versions it didn't rotate either.

I recently found out that even the Facebook app would no longer rotate (at least the latest version).

Yeah, I don't like that at all, I need the wider keyboard that landscape offers..
