Ahh yeah but if I buy it now and take it in when my appointment is will they still repair my phone as they will see I've only just purchased applecare+

Applecare must be purchased within 30 days of the original new product purchase. If you don't order it when you buy the product they do. Visual inspection of the product before Applecare is activated.
