Using redsn0w to restore through iTunes with a custom 5.1.1 firmware...
This assumes you have saved SHSH blobs saved locally on PC or remotely in Cydia....and a stock 5.1.1 firmware downloaded to PC
1- Open redsn0w
2- click Extras
3-click SHSH Blobs
4-Click Stitch
3-click IPSW ( select your stock 5.1.1 firmware..)
4- click local(if you saved your SHSH blobs on PC) and Cydia(if blobs are saved in Cydia)
Your stitched firmware on 5.1.1 will be created.. ready for a restore.

I have dloaded red snow and the link thomas sent me for ipsw but how do i save or create shsh ? So i need to plug my phone in its running 4.3.3 at the moment ? Iis there a chat thing you could walk me through on here maybe ?

Your SHSH blobs are saved already in Cydia....read your previous posts....

Ok my phone says when im on cydia 5.1.1 shsh is there so how do i save on my pc

Thomasjtsi already gave u a link n tutorial on how to extract shsh blobs using tinyumbrella n saving it to ur pc

And tried to use the ipsw download that thomas linked me but it says:
Sorry the current version of redsnow restores only A5 devices or newer, until redsnow is updatedplease continue to stich your blobs into IPSWS of older devices ?

Well for tinyumbrella it doesn't matter as long as its not to old n the redsnow if that's not working for u u can try snowbreeze u can YouTube it to c if ur doing it correctly

Hi , i just managed to use tinyumbrella and and saved my shsh blobs to my pc thanks to thomas link and your goodself i have the following saved on my:

Iphone4 4.3.5
5.0.1
5.1
5.1.1
5.1.1b
6.0gm

The link thomas gave me earlier was for the 5.1.1 with same after code of ( 9b206)

Is there any reason i should get ipsw 5.1.1b instead i presume this is newer , will it make any difference or will i just stick with 5.1.1(9b206)

A newer firmware version exists...iPhone3,1_5.1.1_9B208_Restore which uses 5.1.1b blobs...

On my blobs i have 5.1.1 9b026 and the link thomas gave me is for the same ipsw 5.1.1 9b206 can i download another ipsw e.g 5.1.1 9b208 but use my blob 5.1.1 9b206 ?

Should i just use the 2x 9b206 files ?

What do you reckon?

FYI- There is no need to use TinyUmbrella to download SHSH blobs saved in Cydia....as all the current jailbreak tools can access saved blobs direct from Cydia..
