That's what Apple did to my first phone, I didn't have any luck with it. But my new iPhone seems to be better. Hopefully it will work out for you though.

Yeah that's what I did and now its100 with the plug indicator showing. Does toggling the battery help in better battery life?
I'm going to reset my phone now. I'll keep you updated on my usage.

I did toggle off a few settings in the systems settings like the location based aids, and traffic.

Hey guys,

I had "data roaming" switched off. I have now switched it on again and this has solved my battery problem.

Wouldn't that feature cause the phone to search for data on multiple levels?

I did a little research on this feature, be careful using this especially when travel internationally! You could end up with an ugly bill at the end of the month.

People I just want to clarify one thing: standby time is NOT screen off time. Usage time is the time your screen is on and being used, standby time is time off the charger since last full charge. This has been true for a very long time. Try it for yourself. I had 2 hours of use and 4 hours standby reported at 11 am this morning, and I sure as hell did not get up at 5. My alarm is set for 7.

So please no more saying you got X hours of usage and also XX hours of standby.

People are saying this because the information is useful. Only giving one number does not give the whole picture. 3 hours of usage with 35 hours of standby is a whole different ballgame as 3 hours of usage with 4 hours of standby.

Yes, of course, I am aware of that. As I am not travelling right now it doesn't matter, just found it interesting that my battery no longer drains since turning "data roaming" back on.

You are able to get 9 hours of mixed usage and 24 hours of standby time on a single charge?

Don't know. My battery never runs out on me anymore. I just notice that it doesn't run out as fast anymore. I'll do a test.

I was on a cruise and left it on airplane mode and used wifi to check things never turned it off for 5 days ;)
