If it's a software issue then there's no way they COULD solve it for the new phones since the only iOS available to load onto it at this point is 5.0.1. If it's a 'hardware' issue for some -- like bad batteries from factory -- which is the only thing that could explain some of the problems I'm hearing about here -- then YES - they COULD fix THAT problem with new phones.. But ALL people with 4s's are experiencing worse battery life than Apple's specs - which proves it's MOSTLY an iOS problem that can be fixed. That's the good news. Though as I remember - they were never able to completely fix the weaker than expected battery life with the 2G original iPhone. It wasn't until the 3G and 3GS that we started to see solid battery life. And the 4 has been the best so far.
