Getting tired of all the iPad talk that seems to be going on for ever. Maybe you’re a die-hard fan of the iPhone, after all it was the first major device to come out of Apple, and it should deserve some credit. Shouldn’t people be interested in the next generation iPhone as well? After all Tim Cook did promise us some breathtakingly spectacular devices this year. Well here’s some update in that seemingly empty sector. Japanese site Macotakara released some information today, citing “reliable sources”, regarding the next gen iPhone. According to these new shady sources the device will be rolled out either in September or October of this year.

According to what voices say on the Internet, the iPhone 5 is supposed to come packed with a 4” screen, a dual-core A5 / A6 processor and a stunning 8 MP camera. If the rumors spread by the Japanese site end up being true, this would means that the next generation iPhone will come, exactly one year after its predecessor, the iPhone 4S.

So far Apple seemed to hold a preference for the months of June and July to make a launch, but with the iPhone 4S the company managed to surprise the masses and the tech industry alike, launching it in autumn.

If Apple broke every record with the iPhone 4S, imagine the explosion when the new device finally ships all around the world. Apple’s fiscal Q4 for 2011 has been the most volcanic so far – posting $28.3 billion of revenue and breaking every record in the process.

Thanks for sharing, expect the next gen iPhone will drop in this autumn.

I would not advise Apple to launch a new version of iphone so quickly. If iPhone 4 is making good sales, why not stick with it as long as it works. No doubt, iphone 5 will make good sales but as we know every rise has a fall so it is upto Apple how quickly they convert that rise into fall. I would advise them to launch a new version of iPhone 5 at least after two years.

Exactly about the time you are due an upgrade eh ?
LoL
