I have The Weather Channel App and it's very good. I also have apps from two local tv stations, and am happy with all.

Depends on your Knowledge level. If you have a pretty advanced understanding of reading NEXRAD then radar scope is worth the money. It's not for the untrained eye tho.

Check out WeatherMeter. It has real-time graphing of humidity, pressure, and temperature.
