Go to the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom. You’ll find a list with all of the calendars available for your iPhone. One of the enabled ones is the one that’s duplicating some of the events. You’ll have to disable and enable them one by one to find out which one it is. Then disable the redundant calendar.
