Can I go from ios 15.7.1 to 16.7.2

Still using my t1 and rusty iPhone 8's I am still on 15.7.1 and was thinking of going to 16.7.2 Via wifi. Have good speed DL 500 mbps /UL24

I know I can't go back to 15 any longer.

You should have no problem. To be safe, have the iPhone connected to the charger.

I would if I were you. some Apps require newer software and you will get further security measures.

Thanks, so I am not to far behind on my iphones ios then, glad to hear that. Been trying to see how long 16.7.2 is going to be available on the 8

While you may see further security updates, the iPhone 8 can never be updated to iOS 17.
