Can't edit texts w/ ios7

With ios6 I could go into "messages" and selectively edit/delete unwanted portions of the a message stream. Now however, the only way to edit a message stream is to delete the whole danged thing. Now why would they do something like that, pray tell?

Tap and hold onto a bubble until you see "Copy | More". Tap on more and you should be able to select individual portions of your conversation. Then on the bottom left is the trash bin for deleting the ticked bita
