BGR reports today on new photos that have leaked online of what is claimed to be packaging for the new budget iPhone. The pictures, which first appeared on Chinese forum, WeiPhone, bear the name iPhone 5C, which could mean colour, according to BGR. While the boxes do look reasonably authentic, BGR has updated its story with Nowhereelse.frs comments on the leaked photos, with the French website pointing out several inconsistencies with the photograph that could indicate that it is a fake, such as various blurrings on the logo. Well just have to wait and see in order to know for sure, of course, but as AppleInsider notes in a similar report on the same picture, WeiPhone forums have a good track record of leaking authentic photos of Apple devices in the past, so theres also a good chance that the picture could be genuine. Youd think that if someone was going to take the time and trouble to create a fake iPhone leak picture, theyd make it of something a little more interesting than the packaging! I actually have a feeling these are genuine, but noone can say for sure at the moment.[/FONT]
