AppleInsider reports today on a survey from ChangeWave that compares the user experience of Verizon iPhone 4 owners and AT&T iPhone 4 owners. Of the 4,068 people who responded to the survey, 4.8 percent of AT&T iPhone 4 users said that they had experienced a dropped call on their phone in the past 90 days, as opposed to 1.8 percent of Verizon iPhone 4 users. ChangeWave also conducted a poll that was not phone specific, where they found similar results, with 4.6 percent of AT&T customers reporting dropped calls, and just 1.4 percent of Verizon customers.
ChangeWave also polled people who were considering buying an iPhone 4 in future, and found that 46 percent said they were more likely to go for the Verizon version, as opposed to 27 percent who said they would opt for the AT&T iPhone 4. A further 27 percent were either unsure, or did not pick either AT&T or Verizon.
And on a final, happily unifying note, ChangeWave asked Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4 owners about their happiness with their handsets, and found that they were both equally happy with their iPhone 4s, with 82 percent of Verizon customers and 80 percent of AT&T customers saying they were very satisfied with their iPhone 4s.
